Guest Teachers

Guest teachers or Cultural Exchange is widely embraced within the dance movement field, but perceptions about it vary. We understand the benefits of an open and viable system of exchange and recognise that having access to new movement experiences nutures creative development.

Geographical isolation is a huge impediment facing anyone in the movement dance field. Also travel time and distance certainly can have its challenges as well. Creating and encouraging equitable exchange is the vision of The Rhythm Centre.

Please contact us on or at info@rhythmcentre.com.au if you'd like to be a guest teacher.  We encourage you to join us if you are passionate in sharing your teaching wisdom.

Dance Exchange

Image of a person holding his feetDancers, movers etc and companies understand the benefits of an open and viable system of “exchange” and recognize that having access to new and different work and cultural experiences nurtures their creative development.

Our Rhythm Centre Cultural exchange program provides us all access to people from all over the world and there is significant value in this . Questions however consistently came up about the resources needed to implement recommendations and concerns about travel or visas to for eg Indonesia.

However every group is different and there are various attitudes. Geographic isolation is a huge impediment facing anyone in the Movement /dance field also travel time and distance certainly can have its challenges as well .Some movers /dancers live in isolation and are less informed about the fundamentals of movement.

If you are curious to dedicate your time, to explore a creative exchange program please contact us.  if you wish to Move Mountains together Join us info@therhythmcentre.com.
